Use aseptically to reconstitute lyophilised botulinum toxin; standard dilution is 1 mL per 40-unit vial (40 units/mL) or 2.5 mL per 100-unit vial. Draw required volume using a 21G needle for reconstitution; allow to dissolve gently without agitation. Use reconstituted toxin within 4 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated at 2–8°C.
