Description
Metox 100U is a Korean purified botulinum toxin type A preparation manufactured by Maypharm Co., Ltd., presented as a white lyophilised powder containing 100 units of neurotoxin with human serum albumin and sodium chloride excipients per vial. The toxin cleaves SNAP-25 at the presynaptic terminal, blocking calcium-triggered acetylcholine vesicle fusion and producing reversible muscle chemodenervation with clinical onset at 3–7 days and duration of 6–9 months. Metox is used for cosmetic reduction of dynamic wrinkles (glabellar lines, forehead, crow's feet) and functional applications including hyperhidrosis and blepharospasm.

Designed for professional use in protocols addressing the appearance of facial expression lines, intended for application by trained practitioners within established aesthetic frameworks.
Conditionnement
Each vial contains 100 units of botulinum toxin, supplied for professional aesthetic use.
Protocole
Reconstitute with 2.5 mL of preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride to achieve a concentration of 4 U per 0.1 mL. Using a 30–32G needle, inject intramuscularly at standard anatomical landmarks: glabella 20–30 U across 5 points, forehead 10–20 U across 4–6 points, periocular crow's feet 6–12 U per side across 3 points. Allow 14 days for full effect assessment before considering touch-up dosing. Duration of effect is 6–9 months; schedule repeat treatments accordingly. Store the lyophilised vial at 2–8 °C and use reconstituted product within 24 hours.
