Description

AZALEA Cream contains 20% azelaic acid, a dicarboxylic acid that normalizes follicular keratinization, inhibits 5-alpha reductase activity within the pilosebaceous unit, and directly suppresses Cutibacterium acnes proliferation. At this concentration, azelaic acid also competitively inhibits tyrosinase in hyperactive melanocytes, making it effective for both inflammatory acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) without affecting normally pigmented skin. Indicated for mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris, PIH, and rosacea-associated erythema.

Indication

Designed for the appearance of blemishes, uneven skin tone, and visible pigmentation, intended for use as part of a structured daily skincare routine for the face.

Packaging

30 g tube, supplied as a 20% azelaic acid topical cream for blemish-prone and uneven-toned skin.

Protocol

Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin twice daily (morning and evening), massaging gently until absorbed. Transient stinging, tingling, or mild peeling during the first 2–4 weeks is expected. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ in the morning throughout treatment. Clinical improvement typically observed at 4–8 weeks; maximum benefit at 3–6 months of consistent use.
