Description
Nabota (prabotulinumtoxinA) is a highly purified botulinum toxin type A developed by Daewoong Pharmaceuticals, the first Korean botulinum toxin to receive US FDA approval (2019). Its manufacturing process uses a high-efficiency purification method that produces a toxin with minimal accessory proteins, yielding a 900 kDa complex. It is indicated for temporary improvement of moderate-to-severe glabellar frown lines in adults under 65.
Indication
Designed for professional use in protocols addressing the appearance of glabellar lines, intended for application by trained practitioners within established aesthetic treatment frameworks.
Conditionnement
Each vial contains 100 units of botulinum toxin, supplied for professional aesthetic use.
Protocole
Reconstitute 100-unit vial with 2.5 mL preservative-free 0.9% saline (40 units/mL). For glabellar lines, inject 4 units (0.1 mL) IM into each of 5 sites (total 20 units) using a 30G needle. Allow 24–72 hours for onset; full effect at 7–14 days. Repeat treatment at 3–4 month intervals.
