Description

Neurovie 100 Units is a botulinum toxin type A product, described as a highly purified toxin developed for aesthetic medicine professionals with a focus on stability, clinical reproducibility and predictable outcomes. It contains purified botulinum toxin type A derived from Clostridium botulinum and is manufactured at a certified facility in South Korea.

Indication

Temporary correction of moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles, including vertical glabellar lines, lateral periorbital lines, and horizontal forehead lines.

Conditionnement

One vial containing 100 units of botulinum toxin type A in lyophilized powder form, supplied in a printed carton, 1 vial per box.

Protocole

Storage: 2–8°C (36–46°F). Shelf life of an unopened vial: 36 months. Reconstituted product recommended for use within 24 hours when refrigerated. Injections must be performed by qualified medical professionals. The vial is reconstituted with sterile 0.9% isotonic sodium chloride; a 2.5 mL dilution is commonly used, giving 4 units per 0.1 mL. Dosage is determined individually based on treatment area, severity of facial muscle activity and the patient's anatomy. For the first 24 hours after injection, patients should avoid facial massage, heat exposure, intense physical activity and alcohol. Initial changes may appear within 24 hours, with full effect over several weeks and duration averaging 4–6 months. Cautions Commonly reported reactions typical of botulinum toxin type A products: local tenderness, erythema, swelling, headache, and rarely temporary asymmetry or ptosis. Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to any component, myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome and other neuromuscular transmission disorders, infection or inflammation at the intended injection site, and pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient clinical data.
