BOTULAX 100 units
100 unit s Botulinum toxin.
Description
Botulax 100U is a lyophilised purified botulinum toxin type A complex manufactured by Hugel Inc. (South Korea) from the Clostridium botulinum strain CBFC26, formulated with 0.5 mg human serum albumin and 0.9 mg sodium chloride per 100-unit vial. The toxin blocks acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction by cleaving SNAP-25, producing reversible chemodenervation of the targeted muscle and temporary reduction of dynamic expression lines including glabellar furrows, forehead lines, and crow's feet. Each 100-unit vial is suitable for a standard full-face aesthetic treatment covering multiple sites.
Indication
Designed for professional use in protocols addressing the appearance of facial expression lines, intended for application by trained practitioners within established aesthetic frameworks.
Packaging
Each vial contains 100 units of botulinum toxin, supplied for professional aesthetic use.
Protocol
Reconstitute with 1.0–2.5 mL of preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride to achieve a working concentration of 4–10 U per 0.1 mL. Using a 30–32G, 13 mm needle, inject 2–5 U per point intramuscularly at standard anatomical landmarks. For the glabellar complex, administer 20–30 U total across 5 injection points; for forehead lines, 10–20 U across 4–6 points; for crow's feet, 6–15 U per side across 3–4 points. Onset is 3–7 days; peak effect at 2 weeks; duration 3–6 months. Use reconstituted product within 24 hours, stored at 2–8 °C.
