Description

Acogen Inj. delivers ascorbic acid 10 g per 20 mL vial (500 mg/mL) in a sterile, ready-to-dilute injectable format intended for intravenous vitamin C therapy. At pharmacological concentrations, ascorbic acid stimulates fibroblast collagen synthesis, suppresses tyrosinase-mediated melanin production, and provides systemic antioxidant defence against oxidative stress-related ageing. It is indicated for skin brightening protocols, immunomodulation, and adjunctive post-procedure recovery.

Indication

Designed for clinician-supervised protocols intended to address reduced vitamin C status and to provide supportive antioxidant care in professional settings.

Packaging

20 mL ascorbic acid solution, supplied as 10 vials per box in a professional carton.

Protocol

Dilute 20 mL (10 g) into 250–500 mL of normal saline or Ringer's lactate; infuse IV over 60–90 minutes via 22–24G cannula, one to two sessions per week. Screen for G6PD deficiency before initiating high-dose courses. Standard aesthetic course is 8–12 sessions; maintenance one session monthly. Co-administration with glutathione in the same IV line may enhance brightening outcomes.
