Description
Doxy Tab. (300) provides doxycycline hyclate 100 mg oral tablets in a 300-tablet professional pack for extended antibiotic and anti-inflammatory courses. Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding the 30S ribosomal subunit; at sub-antimicrobial doses it additionally suppresses matrix metalloproteinases and inflammatory cytokines, underpinning its use in inflammatory acne, rosacea, and post-procedure prophylaxis. The 300-tablet pack is sized for institutional or high-volume clinical use.

Designed for clinician-supervised antimicrobial protocols where doxycycline therapy is considered appropriate under qualified medical assessment.

Protocol
For moderate-to-severe acne or rosacea: administer 100 mg orally once or twice daily with food and a full glass of water to reduce oesophageal irritation. Standard antibiotic course: 8–12 weeks; at sub-antimicrobial dosing (40 mg modified-release), continuous use is appropriate for rosacea maintenance. Avoid concomitant antacids, dairy, or iron within 2 hours of dosing. Counsel patients on photosensitivity risk.
