Description
ASCORBIC INJ provides ascorbic acid at 500 mg/mL in a 20 mL multi-dose vial, yielding 10 g per vial for high-concentration IV vitamin C therapy. The formulation supports collagen biosynthesis through prolyl and lysyl hydroxylase co-factor activity, inhibits melanin production by reducing oxidised intermediates in the tyrosinase pathway, and modulates immune response through leukocyte function enhancement. Indicated for IV brightening drips, antioxidant infusions, and wound healing support.
Indication
Designed for IV antioxidant therapy and high-dose vitamin C protocols intended for administration by trained clinicians within professional infusion settings.
Packaging
20 mL ascorbic acid at 500 mg/mL, supplied as 10 vials per box in professional carton.
Protocol
Dilute in 250–500 mL of 0.9% NaCl and administer IV over 60–90 minutes; typical session frequency is 1–2 times per week using a 22–24G peripheral cannula. Do not administer as undiluted bolus. Perform G6PD testing prior to doses exceeding 10 g. Standard brightening course: 8–12 sessions; long-term maintenance monthly.
