Description
Vita D-bone Inj. delivers cholecalciferol at 200,000 IU per dose in a sterile injectable form designed for intramuscular administration to support bone mineralisation and correct vitamin D deficiency. Cholecalciferol undergoes hepatic hydroxylation to 25(OH)D3 and renal activation to calcitriol, the principal hormonal regulator of intestinal calcium absorption and bone remodelling. The formulation is indicated for vitamin D deficiency-related osteopenia, osteoporosis risk reduction, and adjunctive immune support.

Protocol
Administer 200,000 IU by deep IM injection into the gluteus maximus or vastus lateralis using a 23G needle; aspirate before injection to confirm extravascular placement. For deficiency correction, administer a single dose and reassess serum 25(OH)D at 12 weeks. Maintenance doses may be repeated every 3–6 months based on serum levels. Co-administer calcium supplementation as clinically indicated.
