Description
BM Hid Inj. provides cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) at 200,000 IU per 1 mL vial, formulated as a sterile injectable solution for intramuscular administration in the correction of vitamin D deficiency. Cholecalciferol is the most physiologically relevant oral and injectable form of vitamin D, producing sustained elevations in serum 25(OH)D when administered as a high-dose IM depot, with clinical evidence supporting efficacy in Korean and other Asian populations with prevalent deficiency. Indicated for deficiency correction, immune modulation, and bone health support.

Packaging
Cholecalciferol 200,000 IU / 1 mL, supplied as 1 mL × 10 vials per box.
Protocol
Administer 200,000 IU (1 mL) by deep intramuscular injection into the gluteus maximus or vastus lateralis using a 23G 38 mm needle; aspirate to confirm placement. Administer a single loading dose for confirmed deficiency; repeat at 12 weeks if 25(OH)D remains subtherapeutic. Monitor serum 25(OH)D and corrected serum calcium at 12-week intervals. Avoid in hypercalcaemia or hypervitaminosis D.
