Description
MAXYBLUE INJ is a sterile multi-trace mineral injectable solution supplying five essential microelements — zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), manganese (Mn), selenium (Se), and chromium (Cr) — in a single 10 mL vial for IV administration. Each element fulfils specific enzymatic roles: zinc supports wound healing and immune function; copper is a co-factor for ceruloplasmin and lysyl oxidase; manganese activates mitochondrial superoxide dismutase; selenium is integral to glutathione peroxidase activity; and chromium enhances insulin receptor sensitivity. Indicated for trace element repletion in patients on IV nutrition, immune support protocols, and metabolic wellness programmes.

Protocol
Add one 10 mL vial to an appropriate parenteral nutrition admixture or 250–500 mL saline and infuse IV over 60–90 minutes via 22–25G cannula, once daily for repletion or 2–3 times weekly for maintenance supplementation. Do not administer undiluted. Monitor serum trace element levels at baseline and periodically. Avoid concurrent high-dose zinc supplementation from separate sources to prevent copper displacement.
