Description
Restylane Defyne is a Galderma OBT (Optimal Balance Technology) cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler at 20 mg/mL with lidocaine 0.3%, engineered with a flexible gel network that moves naturally with facial expression while maintaining structural correction. It is FDA-cleared and CE-marked for mid-to-deep dermal injection to correct moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds — principally nasolabial folds and chin retrusion — with reported 48-week durability in 69.8% of subjects.
Indication
Designed for professional aesthetic use in addressing deeper facial lines, expression folds, and contour refinement during qualified clinical procedures.
Packaging
Supplied as a 1 mL pre-filled syringe containing HA 20 mg/mL with lidocaine 0.3%.
Protocol
Inject into the mid-to-deep dermis or subdermal plane using the included 27G needle. For nasolabial folds, use linear threading, serial puncture, or crosshatching at a depth of 3–5 mm; aspirate before each bolus. Typical NLF correction requires 0.5–1.5 mL per side. For chin augmentation, deposit product supraperiosteally in 0.1–0.2 mL aliquots. Massage gently post-injection to smooth. Touch-up at 4 weeks if needed.
