Description
Restylane Kysse is a Galderma OBT cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler at 20 mg/mL with lidocaine 0.3%, specifically engineered for lip augmentation and peri-oral line correction. The flexible gel integrates with lip tissue to provide natural-feeling volume and definition — including vermilion border sharpening, Cupid's bow accentuation, and philtrum column enhancement — with FDA approval for lip augmentation and correction of upper perioral lines.
Indication

Packaging
Supplied as a 1 mL pre-filled syringe containing HA 20 mg/mL with lidocaine 0.3%.
Protocol
Inject into the vermilion border using retrograde linear threading or serial puncture with a 27G needle for precise lip line definition; deliver volume into the lip body using a 25G cannula or needle in the submucosal plane. Typical full lip augmentation requires 0.5–1.5 mL. Apply topical or infiltration anaesthesia as adjunct where lidocaine content is insufficient. Massage to blend; avoid overcorrection in a single session. Results last approximately 6–9 months.
