Inject into the mid-to-deep dermis using a 27G needle via retrograde threading or depot injection; aspirate before each bolus. Lidocaine onset reduces discomfort approximately 1–2 minutes into treatment. Deliver 0.1–0.3 mL per depot; typical session volume 1.0–2.0 mL. Reassess at 2 weeks; longevity 9–12 months.
