Description

Chioctocin Inj. is an injectable formulation of thioctic acid (alpha-lipoic acid) at 25 mg per 5 mL ampoule, providing a lower-concentration IV-compatible antioxidant dose for gentle metabolic and neuroprotective support. Alpha-lipoic acid is a universal antioxidant active in both aqueous and lipid cellular compartments, regenerating endogenous antioxidants including glutathione, vitamins C and E, and coenzyme Q10, while also inhibiting advanced glycation end-product formation and supporting peripheral nerve function. Indicated for mild diabetic or chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, antioxidant IV cocktails, and metabolic support protocols.

Packaging

Ginkgo Biloba extract 3.5 mg/mL, supplied as 5 mL × 25 ampoules per box.

Protocol

Dilute one ampoule (25 mg/5 mL) in 100–250 mL of normal saline and infuse IV over 30 minutes via 23–25G cannula, protecting from direct light. For neuropathy protocols, administer once daily (up to 600 mg total daily dose across multiple ampoules) for 2–4 weeks, then transition to oral supplementation at 600 mg/day. For aesthetic antioxidant drips, use 25–75 mg as an additive to multivitamin infusions, 1–2 times weekly.
