Description
NEO-CAIN CREAM (30 g tube) is a high-concentration topical surface anaesthetic formulated at 10.56% lidocaine in a convenient 30 g single-patient tube format. Lidocaine blocks sodium ion influx through voltage-gated channels in sensory neurones, temporarily abolishing pain signal transmission from the application site; the 10.56% concentration provides powerful dermal anaesthesia suitable for procedures requiring mid-to-deep dermal access such as filler injections, laser resurfacing, and microneedling. The 30 g tube format is suited to individual procedure use or single-patient dispensing.
Indication
Designed for topical surface application prior to minor aesthetic and dermatological procedures requiring localized superficial skin numbing performed by trained professionals.
Packaging
Each unit contains one 30g tube of NEO-CAIN surface anesthetic analgesic cream.
Protocol
Apply a generous uniform layer (2–3 mm thick) to the clean, dry treatment area; cover with occlusive film and leave for 20–30 minutes. Remove excess cream with gauze and cleanse the area before the procedure. Maximum application: do not exceed 1.74 g cream (187 mg lidocaine) within 24 hours. Avoid mucous membranes and broken skin. Anaesthetic effect persists approximately 60–90 minutes after removal of the cream.
